Catelyn at 3 months old

Catelyn is three months old. We just love having her in our home. She's such a sweet, loveable and content baby. She smiles and laughs (very ticklish). She's sleeping through the night, which is wonderful since she used to eat every 2 hours-24/7 (which is why she has chubby cheeks). She smiles at everyone. She has a very easygoing demeanor, must take after her mom!!

Zachary earned his Bear Award!

Zachary worked hard this summer to earn his Bear award in Cub Scouts! I'm the Cubmaster so I awarded him the badge!

How have Jesse and Zachary changed in the past three years?


Here's some pictures that show the comparisons. I do the same goofy signs & Back to school prize bags every year. The boys roll their eyes at all the pictures I take but I give them the alternative: following them to school and taking pictures there. Well, I still take Zachary's pictures but he doesn't mind as much...at least for now!! I still can't believe Jesse's in 9th grade & Zachary's in 4th!! It's amazing that when Eddy and I got married, Jesse was ending his 4th grade year & he was sooooo old. I thought, "What do you do with a 9 year old??" Now, Zachary is the same age! However, I'm wondering what you do with a teenager??

Christy's wedding

This is Christy and Brandon's wedding reception. They got married in the SLC Temple. Christy is our niece (Eddy's sister, Colleen's, daughter).

Sisters

There's something special about sisters. I love my sisters and enjoy talking to them and being around them. I look up to my sisters,my sister in laws, & my "sisters" (Brighton, Chelsea) who are great examples to me. I really hope Catelyn and Rebecca have a good relationship as well.

The beaches in Utah

After growing up with CA beaches, I'll take anything that resembles a beach at this point! We went to Jordanelle lake (beach) for our niece/nephews birthdays. It's fun to live near family because the kids play with their cousins more often. Since my family used to go to the beach during the summer, this reminded me of some of those memories. Similarities: Happy & entertained kids, crunchy food from sand, laying out, relaxation. The differences: no waves, less sandy areas, dirtier water. All in all, it's fun to go to the "beach" wherever you live.
